For thirty years The Skin Centre has looked after the skin of the Gold Coast.
Some of our patients have been coming to us for most of that time, and the referral relationships we have with local GPs and specialists were built one patient at a time over decades.
That kind of trust cannot be manufactured, and it is the thing a Dermatologist joining us inherits from day one.

We are growing because we have to.
Our books are full and our waitlist has stretched beyond twelve months.

The clinical work
The Gold Coast holds the unfortunate title of skin cancer capital of Australia, and you will see the full breadth and complexity of skin diseases here.
We are the only practice on the Gold Coast offering Mohs Micrographic Surgery, with established hospital lists and our own in-house Mohs technicians, alongside a full spectrum of medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology.
You choose your own mix based on your preferences.
A practice that has always looked forward
From our early days we have been a research and technology practice at heart, and that has not changed.
There is a real opportunity here to help shape medtech development and to have a hand in how dermatology care is delivered in the years ahead, through clinical trials, AI-assisted diagnostics and robotics, and, if it interests you, cosmeceutical research through our sister company Bloc Skincare.




In November **** we will open a purpose-built dermatology precinct at Mermaid Waters, designed around skin.
Joining from January **** means arriving early enough to be properly established and to help shape how it comes together, from the clinical workflows to the way patients experience their care.

Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists (FACD), or eligibility to complete it within a workable timeframe, and specialist registration (or eligibility) with AHPRA.
