About
the RoleWe have a number of exciting opportunities
within our Operational Engineering Maintenance team for General
Hands who are looking to build on their skills and contribute to
the maintenance of essential community infrastructure.
We are
seeking motivated and reliable individuals with experience in road,
stormwater drainage and infrastructure maintenance who enjoy
working outdoors and being part of a supportive team.
This hands-on
role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys
a variety of tasks.
You will work across a range of maintenance
activities while operating and maintaining plant, equipment and
tools used to support the City's transport and drainage
infrastructure.
Safety, teamwork and quality workmanship are at the
heart of everything we do.
The
successful appointees will be responsible for:
Complying with relevant
Work Health and Safety legislation and ensuring work is
completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with best
practice.
Operating and
maintaining a variety of tools, plant and
equipment.
Undertaking road,
stormwater drainage and infrastructure maintenance works that
help keep our community safe, connected and well
maintained.
About
you As a valued member of the Operational Engineering
Maintenance team, you will be adaptable, safety-focused and enjoy
working in a fast-paced operational workplace.

Applicants
must be able to demonstrate through their resume and covering
letter that they meet the following criteria:
Experience operating and
maintaining a variety of plant and equipment used in
infrastructure maintenance activities.
Knowledge of engineering
maintenance procedures and industry best practice.
Experience or confidence
in using information systems, mobile technology and workplace
applications.
Main
Roads WA Basic Worksite Traffic Management and Traffic
Controller accreditation (desirable).
Current
MR Class Driver's Licence.
Construction Industry
White Card (or equivalent safety awareness
certification).
Basic
literacy and numeracy skills.
Ability
to work effectively as part of a team.
