We are seeking a mature minded and enthusiastic person wishing to work for a busy and well established importer and distributor of food and wines.
The applicant must be self-motivated, well presented and a hardworking individual.
Previous experience in the wholesale food industry would be an advantage.
Position Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Order and Invoice Entry including scanned inventory in a warehouse environment.
Dealing with customer and delivery queries and warehouse pick up orders.
Processing eftpos and some cash payments
Balancing a small float.
Co-ordinating Daily Delivery Runs.
Organising interstate and local pallet orders and on line booking of transport Companies.
Maintaining pallet transfers and pallet control.
Answering telephones and taking some orders when required.
Picking orders when required.
General Administration tasks as required




Will be trained in all facets of HACCP and office procedures including our software program
Includes set work
Early Start time.
The successful applicant must have:
Be able to quickly learn a variety of different product lines.
Have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail and be able to identify and correct mistakes.
Good telephone and communication skills along with an enthusiastic personality
Be a willing and quick learner
Be able to follow a daily procedure but also able to adapt and be adaptable and organise work load as required.
Be able to manage time effectively be organised and remain focused.
Be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to work as a team member with minimal supervision.
Outstanding work ethic combined with honesty, integrity and loyalty.
Be reliable and hardworking.
