About the role:
We are seeking an experienced, Qualified Chef to join our professional team at our Dominic Early Learning Centre in Glenorchy.
The role will be part-time, working 25 hours per week.
You will be responsible for preparing morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea for children aged 0-5, and for planning a seasonal, rotating menu that considers children's likes and dislikes and special dietary requirements, in line with the Australian Dietary and Infant Feeding Guidelines.
Experience and knowledge in providing high-quality, nutritious meals for children while meeting individual health and dietary requirements are highly desirable.
You will also have additional responsibilities, including ordering, budgeting, adhering to the service's Food Safety Program, and maintaining our Move Well Eat Well Accreditation.

You must:
Hold a relevant cooking/chef qualification (Certificate II or III minimum)
Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration – or willingness to obtain
Have experience working in Early Childhood Education (desirable)
