We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join one of the fastest growing independent NDIS providers.
The successful applicant will preferably have relevant qualifications and/or experience in case management and be familiar with NDIS.
This position is full time, Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm, office based.
As team leader your responsibilities are to:
Coordinate, plan and execute workflow activities
Ability to manage team of staff in both the community and in supported accommodation services
Be the first point of contact for all staff and participants regarding ethical questions and feedback
Ensure emergency responses are established and risk minimised to participants, staff and the brand of the business
Deliver consistent, quality personal care to NDIS participants and maintain care load
Coordinate office personnel work activities in line with strategic goals
Ensure the smooth running of the team on a daily basis
Provide feedback, coaching and training to facilitate personal and professional development
Chair staff meetings to provide opportunity to give direction and discuss areas for improvement
Ensure workplace materials and documentation are maintained in line with legal obligations and best practice standards
Ability to develop strong, professional relationships with key stake holders.
Monitor and revise care plans for participants to meet all the individual needs, in addition to develop training for staff to implement the care plans with high standards.




Analyse and investigate service complaint alongside the service manager or reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
Review all the services within your case load to ensure they are meeting the standards.
Develop new standards for services quality, with improvements as needed, and create testing protocols for implementation across all services.
Conduct provided surveys and collect data using methods such as interviews, questionnaires and focus groups.
Selection Criteria
Must hold minimum of certificate III in Disability or be able to demonstrate relevant experience
Knowledge of the NDIS Scheme
Ability to practice a person-centered approach
Excellent written and verbal communication skills especially your ability to listen, interpret and act on what people want and need in a timely manner
High level organisational, time management and task management, dealing with competing priorities and tight deadlines
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to find a way and bring people together to achieve outcomes for participants
Ability to work with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and circumstances in a respectful manner
Competency in using Office 365 including Outlook, Word, Excel and Client Management Systems.
The successful applicant will also hold and maintain the following:
Full Australian Driver's License
Working with Vulnerable People
Current National Police Check
Current First Aid Certificate/CPR
NDIS Workers Orientation Module (or ability or obtain)
