We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Accounts Officer to join our team.
This role is an exciting opportunity to take charge of key financial responsibilities, including recording and retrieving financial information, as well as processing accounts and administration to support the broader team in driving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurate processing of all Accounts Payable payments, cash receipts and payments, customer credit notes, sales orders, bank reconciliations and any administration requirements of the finance function via Pronto and a wider variety of software and systems.
Process all new credit application forms for credit accounts with new suppliers, including performing credibility and reference checks for recent customer credit accounts.
Manage outstanding customer invoices, including contacting customers outside of payment guidelines.
Assist in the administration of the financial business function.
Undertake general accounting tasks and supporting the provision of timely and accurate financial information, including administration aspects and supporting accounts payable / receivable coverage during periods of team leave.




Assist in the preparation of reporting for the finance function.
Oversee the completion of all office administration duties, including postal correspondence, banking, filing, ordering office supplies, archiving, and emailing customer statements.
About You:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position incorporating analysis and problem-solving principles.
Ability to work within a team and autonomously
Intermediate Computer skills including MS Office and Pronto (Pronto desirable)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
