Motor Scout is opening a brand new office in Coffs Harbour and we're on the hunt for a
Team Leader
to help us build and grow it from the ground up.

That means no cold calling, no sales-floor burnout!
Our head office in Kingscliff runs a pretty cool and fun operation - and we're looking for someone to build that same people-first culture into our new Coffs team from day one, as both a hands-on seller and the leader of the office.
Our customers come to us pre-qualified.
Your role?
Get on the phones and guide clients through their car-buying journey with transparency and empathy, while also building, leading, and growing the team around you.
We haven't been named Australia's Best Online Vehicle Sales Company by ProductReview (6 years straight) and one of Australia's fastest growing companies by the AFR 2 years in a row for nothing - and this new office is the next step in that growth story!
What You'll Be Doing
Speaking with warm, pre-qualified leads yourself (zero cold calling)
Building real trust and rapport with clients and managing the full client journey from intro to happy outcome
Leading, coaching, and growing the Coffs team as we scale the office
Setting the standard on the phones - leading by example for the team you're building
Running weekly team training and coaching sessions
Managing day-to-day performance, culture, and operations of the office
Collaborating closely with Kingscliff head office leadership on strategy and growth

What We're Looking For
Proven experience leading, mentoring, or managing a small sales or client service team - ideally 3+ years' experience overall in sales, client service, or account management
Confident and effective on the phone yourself, and able to lead by example
Building rapport is your superpower - with clients and with your team
A customer-first attitude with a dash of greatness
You want to grow fast, help others grow, and build a strong team culture
Strong computer literacy and the ability to multitask across selling and managing
Bonus: experience in automotive, finance, or insurance (not required)
