An opportunity is available for an HSE professional to join a major renewable energy project on a 12-month contract basis.
Working as part of an established project team, you will play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring effective risk management across construction activities.This role will suit a safety skilled with experience on large-scale construction, infrastructure, energy or renewable projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesPromote and maintain a proactive safety culture across the project.Conduct site inspections, audits and workplace observations.Lead daily pre-starts and toolbox talks.Support incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions.Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, project procedures and client requirements.Review and assist with risk assessments, Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and permit systems.Maintain accurate HSE records and reporting.Provide practical safety advice and coaching to supervisors,
employees and subcontractors.Monitor environmental compliance and support environmental management initiatives.Participate in emergency preparedness activities and continuous improvement programs
About YouMinimum 3 years' experience in an HSE Advisor role within construction, infrastructure, energy or similar high-risk industriesDemonstrated experience implementing environmental management requirements on project sitesExperience working on renewable energy projects, particularly wind farms, will be highly regardedExperience conducting investigations, inspections and auditsCertificate IV in Work Health & Safety
