This is not a desk-based role.
We are looking for someone with initiative, energy and a genuine passion for connecting with people.
You will be comfortable approaching employers, job seekers and community members, starting conversations, identifying workforce needs, and helping people access the support available through the Regional, Rural and Remote Home Care Workforce Support Program (RRRHCWSP).
You don't need to know everything about workforce development—we're looking for someone with the right attitude, excellent people skills, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities

· Visit workplaces and communities to discuss workforce challenges and identify opportunities for support.
· Engage with people interested in working in the care sector and promote employment pathways.
· Attend community events, careers expos, industry forums and networking opportunities.
· Promote careers in home care to people of all ages and backgrounds.
· Identify barriers to employment and work collaboratively to connect people with appropriate supports.
· Assist employers to understand the workforce support available through the program.
· Support recruitment activities, information sessions and workforce initiatives.
· Maintain regular contact with employers and job seekers to ensure ongoing engagement.
· Record engagement activities and contribute to reporting requirements.
· Work collaboratively with the Crest NT team and industry partners to achieve program outcomes.
Crest NT is looking for someone who:
· Has experience in aged care, disability, home care, community services or a related field.
· Loves meeting new people and building relationships.
· Is confident walking into workplaces and introducing themselves to employers.
· Has no hesitation striking up conversations with people from all walks of life.
· Is proactive, motivated and enjoys working independently.
· Can identify opportunities and solve problems.
· Is passionate about helping people find meaningful employment.
· Understands the unique challenges faced by regional, rural and remote communities.
· Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Is organised and able to manage their own workload.
· Is culturally respectful and able to work effectively with regional and remote communities and diverse populations.
Essential Requirements
· Experience working within the community care, aged care, disability or community services sector.
· Current Driver's Licence.
· National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
· Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card) or willingness to obtain.
· Willingness to travel throughout the Northern Territory, including regional and remote communities.
· Competent computer skills.
Desirable Requirements
· Knowledge of the aged care or home care sector.
· Experience in community engagement, employment services, recruitment or workforce development.
· Understanding of the Northern Territory workforce and community landscape.
· Experience working with Aboriginal communities.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role is measured by your ability to:
· Build trusted relationships across the care sector.
· Increase awareness of careers in aged care and home care.
· Connect employers with practical workforce solutions.
· Support more people into employment and training opportunities.
· Help employers address workforce shortages.
· Strengthen workforce capability across regional, rural and remote Northern Territory communities.
Why Join Crest NT?
