We are currently offering opportunities for
a Fuel Tanker Driver
to join our team, working from a Perth base.
About the role:
The opportunity is for an experienced, professional Fuel Tanker Driver, responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of bulk fuel to customer and company sites
:
10 days on, 4 days off - majority hose reel deliveries, camping in truck.
One truck, one driver.
Relevant qualifications:
Current MC drivers' licence
Current DG licence
Minimum three years MC driving experience – with fuel tanker driving and delivery experience
Excellent driving history
Safe Load Pass desirable
Fatigue management training
National Police Clearance
Essential skills:
Skilled and competent driver experience, in the secure delivery of Dangerous Goods.
Basic mechanical skills on the operation of a heavy vehicle.




Skilled and competent driver dedicated to achieving the highest level of safety and risk reduction with a history of safe work practices, understanding hazard identification and risk assessment process.
Good knowledge of heavy vehicle mass management, fatigue management (BFM), dangerous goods and road transport rules and regulations, load restraint and chain of responsibility.
Good knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation, policies and associated operation of heavy vehicles and transportation of dangerous goods.
Strong customer service focus, positive attitude, good communication skills, work ethic and respect for colleagues.
Strong commitment to managing fatigue.
Knowledge of basic manual handling procedures and physically fit.
Must frequently be able to lift up to 25kg.
Ability to drive long distances and regularly away overnight.
Good numeracy skills and basic IT skills.
