About the Role
As a Program Coordinator, you will lead the delivery of engaging, person-centred programs based in West Croydon, supporting people living with disability to build skills, develop social connections, increase independence and participate actively in their communities.
In this rewarding leadership role, you will:
Coordinate the day-to-day operations of community and social programs, ensuring safe, high-quality service delivery
Develop and coordinate meaningful activities that promote inclusion, wellbeing and community participation
Build strong relationships with participants, families, carers and community stakeholders
Support participants to achieve their goals through person-centred planning and tailored supports
Lead,
coach and mentor a team of Senior Support Workers and Support Workers to deliver outstanding outcomes
Coordinate staffing, rostering and resources to meet participant needs and program requirements
Identify opportunities to strengthen and grow programs in response to community needs
Monitor participant outcomes, manage risks and ensure compliance with organisational and NDIS requirements
Foster community partnerships that create meaningful opportunities and connections for participants
Knowledge, skills and experience
You'll have the practical know-how and interpersonal strengths to lead with confidence and deliver quality services.
You will demonstrate:
Robust understanding of person-centred and strengths-based approaches
Ability to manage risk, incidents, and service compliance
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Proficiency in digital systems and documentation processes
Capacity to lead teams through change and support continuous improvement
Education & Qualifications
You'll meet the essential requirements to support safe, effective service delivery.
You will hold:
Degree in a relevant discipline (Disability Studies, Community Development, Education, or related field), OR Diploma in Community Services combined with substantial relevant experience,
OR Relevant Industry Experience consistent with the SCHADS Level 5 qualification expectation
Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) and CPR
Current South Australian driver's licence (minimum P2)
Current SA Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check
We're serious about safeguarding our clients.
