About the Role
Teaching
Preparing, delivering, and facilitating tutorials and workshops as outlined in the curriculum for the subject each week in subject area of expertise, as agreed with the Program Manager
Grading assignments, tests, examinations, and other assessment items as required
Providing detailed, timely, and meaningful feedback to students
Performing all other teaching‐related duties such as preparation for scheduled hours of teaching, administration of student records and informal consultations with students
General Duties
Providing early learning support and referrals as needed to UTS College Student Success Advisors
In consultation with the Academic Coordinator and Program Manager, participating in a range of professional development activities
Attending staff and subject meetings as required
Completing special assignments under the direction of the Program Manager as required
Team Liaison & Collaboration




Establishing ongoing channels of communication with Academic Coordinators, Student Success Advisors, the Program Manager and academic colleagues to ensure consistent quality of teaching
Participating in moderation activities

About You
A bachelor's degree in (doctoral qualifications preferred)
5 years+ experience in industry practice or post graduate qualifications in Communication or a related field
Relevant demonstrated experience of teaching in a higher education environment
Demonstrated commitment to cutting-edge learning and teaching practices, including a willingness to engage with contemporary approaches to content delivery including blended learning approaches
Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple demands to meet deadlines whilst ensuring accuracy
