Vestas Wind is looking for an enthusiastic electrician to join our team at Kennedy Energy Park.
This is a fantastic role to work on one of the few wind and solar combined farms in Australia.ResponsibilitiesUndertake scheduled service and reactive maintenance as requiredRespond and attend site outside normal working hours to undertake reactive maintenance on a rostered basisMaintain all company vehicles and keep plant equipment in good, clean conditionUndertake operations and maintenance within the limits of training and authorisation including operation of HV and LVEnsuring that each task is undertaken in a manner that ensures the safety of personnel, protects the environment and work methods are followed at all timesUndertake the site inductionUndertake the requirements of the SMA (Service Maintenance Agreement)Complying with the duty of care assigned under OH&S; legislation and demonstrate commitment to accident preventionObserving all work instructions, procedures, safety codes of practice, employer OH&S; and Environmental requirements and statutory rules and regulationsWear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as requiredParticipate in safety, toolbox or other meetings where requiredAll other duties within competence, skill, qualifications and experience as directedQualificationsAustralian Electrical LicenseFull drivers licenseOther relevant but not required qualifications include: GWO training, working at heights, safety, manual handling, HV/LV rescue, fire awareness,



first aidCompetenciesLiterate with PC & modern technologies to support your day-to-day workAbility to read/interpret technical drawings to support fault-finding and/or maintenance activitiesAny knowledge of PLC and/or SCADA systemsMotivation to learn new skills and thrive in a growing industryUnderstanding of safety principles, willing to adhere to and drive safety compliance company-wideExperience with HV/LV, hydraulics, and mechanical systems in a residential, commercial, and/or industrial environmentProficient in the use of various hand toolsStrong communicational skills, ability to work in a small teamAbility to work at heights in confined environmentsAdditional InformationYou must have the right to live and work in this location to apply for this jobThis role is not FIFO/DIDO.
