About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Customer Service Officer to join a leading National Recycling and Manufacturing organisation based in Dry Creek.
This varied role makes you the first point of contact for customers, coordinating enquiries, managing service requests, processing orders and supporting the Sales and Operations teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.
This is an initial 12-month temporary chance with strong potential for extension, offering the chance to join a collaborative, fast‐paced team where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email and occasional walk‐ins
Process customer orders and service requests accurately using SAP
Coordinate customer collection schedules and provide updates on deliveries and service timeframes
Manage customer cases, complaints, returns and credits, ensuring issues are resolved promptly
Liaise closely with Sales, Operations, Logistics and contractors to ensure services are delivered on time
Maintain accurate customer records, databases and service schedules
Prepare operational and customer reports to support business performance
Assist with general branch administration,
contractor coordination and front office support as required
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a Customer Service, Administration or Customer Support position
SAP & ERP experience is essential
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships
Excellent communication and problem‐solving abilities
High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel experience highly regarded)
Experience within manufacturing, recycling, logistics, FMCG or another operational environment will be highly regarded
Experience in a B2B customer service environment is advantageous
