Full-time Contract AssociatePosted 03 Jul ****DescriptionLocation: Newman preferred (applications welcome from across the Pilbara)Full Time | Fixed Term until 30 June ****Make a meaningful differencePilbara Community Legal Service (PCLS) is seeking a compassionate and resilient Support Worker within our Redress team to support people who have experienced institutional child sexual abuse through the National Redress Scheme.This rewarding role provides practical, emotional and trauma-informed support, helping clients navigate the Redress application process with dignity, respect and care.About UsPilbara Community Legal Service (PCLS) provides a range of services across Karratha, Roebourne, South Hedland and Newman, supporting individuals, families and communities throughout the Pilbara.Our services include:Legal ServicesFinancial CounsellingTenant Advice and EducationHousing SupportDomestic and Family Violence Advocacy and SupportRedress SupportSettlement Engagement and Transition Services(SETS)About the RoleIn this role, you will:Provid trauma-informed case management and client supportAssist clients to complete and lodge National Redress Scheme applicationsMaintain accurate client records and dataDeliver outreach services across Newman and surrounding communitiesBuild positive relationships with clients, community members and service providersAbout YouYou are someone who:Has experience working with vulnerable clientsDemonstrates empathy, resilience and professionalismCan work independently and manage competing prioritiesHas strong communication, administration and computer skillsDemonstrates cultural sensitivity,
