MM Plastics is looking for a Business Manager to lead our Victorian operation spanning sales, customer service, manufacturing and warehousing, with full P&L; responsibility.
With the business moving into a new purpose-built facility, the next few years will be an exciting period of growth and change.
You'll be at the centre of it.
Around half of the business involves value-add manufacturing, including CNC machining and fabrication.
This isn't a typical distribution business.
You'll need to understand how products move through a manufacturing setting while also driving commercial outcomes and developing the sales team.
You'll lead the team, lift capability, strengthen accountability and continue building a high-performing culture across both the commercial and operational sides of the business.

Run the business as if it were your own

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, capability and service
About You
Most candidates will have strength in either sales leadership or operations.
The person we're looking for has both.
Ideally, you've led teams in manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, machining or a similar industrial environment.
You understand what drives customers, what keeps production moving, and how to balance both.
You're commercially minded, enjoy improving the way things are done and bring energy to the teams you lead.
You're comfortable making decisions, holding people accountable and driving change where you see opportunities.
Experience in environments such as CNC machining, fabrication, plastics or otherwise will be highly regarded.
