This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Accounts Officer looking to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, whilst gaining exposure to a diverse range of projects and stakeholders, while contributing to a business making a meaningful impact.
The Role & Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller and among a supportive close knit team environment, the role will encompass both Accounts Payable & Receivable duties including:
Timely and accurate processing of invoices
Complete weekly, monthly and ad hoc payment runs
Process employee expense claims and reimbursements
Reconciliation duties
Allocate and receipt customer payments
Resolve invoice discrepancies
Assist with following up overdue / outstanding accounts
Manage queries from suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders
Assist with end of month processes
Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies
Provide support to the finance team where required
Ad hoc duties where required
Candidate Profile
Will have proven experience in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, as well as the following attributes:
Excellent time management skills with an ability to multi-task and juggle varying responsibilities
A passion for accounts and keen desire to complete all tasks to a high standard
High class interpersonal skills with a positive and bubbly personality
Strong communication skills, from both a written and verbal perspective
A keen eye for detail with a proactive nature
