Class 2 experience ideal.Our client is a leading Sydney-based property development and construction group delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use projects that contribute to vibrant urban communities.With a strong and growing pipeline of large-scale projects across NSW, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their commercial team.
Responsible for the commercial and contractual management of complex construction projects from procurement through to final account.Working closely with the Project Manager and senior leadership team, you will take ownership of subcontractor management, cost control, contract administration and commercial reporting while mentoring junior team members and contributing to best-practice project delivery.Candidate needs to have experience on new build projects in Sydney, ideally with class 2 residential experience.Years of Experience3 - 7+ yearsResponsibilitiesManaging end-to-end subcontractor procurement, tender assessments and contract negotiationsPreparing, administering and managing subcontract agreementsManaging progress claims, variations,



extensions of time and final accountsMaintaining accurate cost control, forecasting and financial reportingEnsuring contractual compliance and risk mitigation across all project stagesWorking closely with Project Managers to ensure commercial alignment with construction programsProviding guidance and mentorship to Assistant and Cadet Contracts AdministratorsCoordinating with site teams, consultants and external stakeholdersPreparing detailed commercial reports for senior managementSystems & Process ImprovementContributing to continuous improvement of commercial systems and proceduresEnsuring accurate documentation, reporting and record keepingSupporting best-practice contract administration across the businessQualifications and RequirementsDegree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related discipline3-7 years' experience in a Contracts Administrator roleStrong experience delivering large-scale residential and/or mixed-use projectsExcellent commercial acumen and contract administration skillsStrong leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilitiesHigh level of organisation, attention to detail and time managementProficiency in Microsoft Office and construction cost management systemsSydney-based or willing to work across Sydney construction sitesWhite Card requiredYou'll be joining a well-established and respected property development and construction business offering long-term project security, strong leadership support and the opportunity to play a key role in delivering some of Sydney's most significant residential and mixed-use developments.
