ZIMMERMANN is seeking an analytical Assistant Planner - AU to join our Planning team based in our Sydney Head Office.
In this position, you'll play a key role in supporting the Planning function with pre‐season allocations, in‐season trading and post‐season analysis, helping to maximise performance across stores and distribution channels.
You will oversee assortment planning, replenishment strategies, and promotional activity to drive sales, profitability and stock efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting data integrity across planning systems through analytics, enabling informed assortment and inventory decisions.
Managing stock allocations and performance analysis to optimise store and distribution centre outcomes.
Preparing accurate weekly, monthly and seasonal reporting, including sales and delivery insights.
Supporting pre‐season allocations, in‐season replenishment and markdown activity.
Partnering cross‐functionally with Buying, Retail, Production and Logistics teams to ensure alignment.
Assisting with administration, sales orders and contributing to store visits and ongoing business initiatives.
What You Will Bring
2–3 years' experience in Retail Planning or a similar analytical/financial role.
A relevant qualification in Commerce,



Business or a related field (preferred).
Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills with an understanding of retail financials.
Advanced Excel skills, with experience building reports and working with large datasets.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong data interpretation capability.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work both autonomously and collaboratively.
