The Opportunity
We are on the lookout for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our growing maintenance team at Kathleen Valley.
These site-based, permanent roles are offered on an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth, with accommodation in our modern Dragonfly Village, just minutes from site.
Reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will provide hands-on repairs, maintenance and diagnostic support across our fixed plant and site infrastructure, working closely with the wider maintenance team to keep operations running safely and reliably.
What You'll Be Doing
• Perform repairs and maintenance to the fixed plant and site infrastructure
• Provide high-level diagnostics and fault-finding on fixed plant and infrastructure equipment
• Liaise closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Maintenance Superintendent, and assist in work planning and scheduling to ensure the required equipment, tools and spare parts are available and maintained
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, workspace organisation and waste minimisation
• Minimise Company risk exposure and liabilities by performing maintenance activities to a high standard




• Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety and actively support a culture of safety awareness
• Assist in the development and continual improvement of maintenance crews
• Undertake other duties as required by operational needs or directives from your leader
What We're Looking For
• Trade certified as a Mechanical Fitter
• Minimum of five years' experience in relevant fixed plant maintenance, including crushers, mills, apron feeders, conveyors, screens, flotation and filtration systems, pumps, agitators and magnetic separation
• Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings, schematics and manuals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working within a team
• A strong commitment to safety and a positive attitude
• Initiative and strong work habits
• Current Western Australian C Class driver's licence and ability to satisfy standard WA mine site requirements
