Adore Coffee Roasters is growing — and we're looking for a passionate Business Development Manager to help us grow our presence across Canberra.
Founded in ****, Adore Coffee Roasters is an Australian specialty coffee roaster built around quality, relationships and a genuine passion for great coffee.
We're looking for an energetic, motivated
Business Development Manager (BDM)
to join our team and develop new wholesale opportunities throughout the Canberra region.
THE ROLE
As our Canberra BDM, you'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with café, restaurant, hospitality and other wholesale customers, and helping existing customers grow with Adore.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being out in the market, meeting people, opening doors and turning great conversations into long-term partnerships.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and secure new wholesale customers across Canberra and surrounding areas
Build strong, long-term relationships with café owners, venue operators and hospitality businesses
Manage and grow an existing customer portfolio
Prospect, cold call and conduct face-to-face business development
Present Adore Coffee's products, service and wholesale offering to prospective customers
Arrange coffee tastings, product demonstrations and customer meetings
Work closely with customers to understand their business and coffee requirements
Monitor market activity and identify opportunities for growth
Maintain accurate customer and sales information
Achieve agreed sales and revenue targets




Represent the Adore Coffee brand professionally throughout the Canberra market
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for someone who is:
A confident and natural relationship builder
Passionate about coffee, hospitality and delivering great customer experiences
Experienced in B2B sales, business development or account management
Comfortable prospecting and generating new business
Highly motivated and commercially minded
Organised, reliable and able to work autonomously
Confident communicating with business owners and decision-makers
Well presented and professional
Driven by achieving results — but equally focused on building lasting relationships
Coffee or hospitality industry experience will be highly regarded, but we're also interested in exceptional salespeople who have the right attitude and a genuine passion for coffee.
