Position: Plumber (Permanent)
Location: Royal Military College – Duntroon, ACT
Responsibilities
Perform general plumbing maintenance and minor upgrade works according to PAS service definitions.
Maintain and repair water supply, sewerage, drainage, and other plumbing systems across the base.
Undertake backflow prevention and thermostatic mixing valve testing where certified.
Respond promptly to service requests and urgent repairs.
Qualifications
Certificate III in Plumbing (or equivalent).
Post‐trade experience in plumbing maintenance, preferably in a facilities or Defence environment.
Demonstrated ability to perform plumbing system maintenance, drainage, and water system management.
Backflow Prevention Certification and Gas Work Licence (Type A) – desirable.
Current open driver's licence.
Ability to obtain and retain Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship required).
