Your role at St John of God Murdoch Hospital
As a Registered Nurse on our 30-bed St Catherines ward, you will be responsible for the provision of safe and compassionate clinical care at all stages of the perioperative journey, from pre-surgery, in theatre and post-surgery.
You will experience different aspects of the entire patient surgical journey, which is both exciting and extremely rewarding.
Registered Nurses with PACU and/or Scrub Scout experience are encouraged to apply.
The Position
Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required
Promotes and contribute to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and within the hospital
Provide patient education and act as a resource where appropriate
Support and supervise staff and students as required, including orientating and preceptoring staff
Contribute to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives
You will hold current registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse, with demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
To succeed you will have an ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
You will hold registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse, relevant post registration with current perioperative experience.
Experience in Urology,
Gynaecology and Vascular specialities would be highly desirable.
We can offer you
Salary: $82,945 - $106,629, plus 12% superannuation
$***** to $***** per hour (inclusive of casual loading), plus 12% superannuation
Full Time, Part Time, Casual positions available
