We have an opening for a Junior or Senior apprentice.
Working in Settlement City.

Qualifications & experience
The person we are seeking must be willing to work within a team setting, be honest, punctual, clean and eager to learn the Retail Meat Trade.
The Butcher - Must be Fully Experienced in all aspects of retail butchery.
Certificate III qualification plus substantial experience required for the experienced butcher position.
Minimum of 5+ years retail butchery experience required for the experienced butcher role.
A keen interest in developing a career within the trade
Strong communication skills
A real passion for excellent customer service




An enthusiasm for retailing and specifically butchery
Know the products they sell and the service they offer
Foster customer loyalty through the development of an attentive business relationship.
Get to know your customers
Always keep promises and honour our commitments
The ability to work on own initiative
Australian work rights are required for this position
Tasks & responsibilities
We are also seeking a keen person to take up the role of a 1 year apprentice.

This offer is for current apprentices from years 1.
Offering apprentice pay rates depending on your current attained level.
Apprentice candidates must be in their 1st or 2nd year of training
General shop work, Cutting Trays, Customer Service Value Adding and Preparing Lamb, Beef, Pork Occasional Back Work.
All aspects of retail butchery 5 Days per week (uniforms provided, over award, wages plus overtime)
