We are seeking an experienced
Administrator – Recruitment & Mobilisation
to join our growing team.
Reporting to the HR Team, you will work closely with both the HR and Mobilisation teams, supporting recruitment, workforce planning, and mobilisation activities to meet GEC's operational requirements.
We're looking for a proactive and organised professional who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace.
You will have excellent communication skills, a high level of initiative, and the ability to work independently while delivering outcomes.
This is ideally a full-time, Monday to Friday position, with the flexibility to provide remote support for occasional weekend mobilisation requirements as part of a rotating roster.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain a strong talent pool by proactively engaging with candidates to support current and future operational requirements.
Coordinate site entry compliance, including booking flights, medicals, travel, accommodation, and other mobilisation requirements in line with client expectations.
Manage mobilisation and demobilisation activities accurately and within required timeframes.
Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding process, providing timely updates on work opportunities and site requirements.
Coordinate personnel across shutdowns and project work, ensuring resources are scheduled and mobilised in accordance with client requirements.
Communicate mobilisation details and upcoming work schedules effectively with GEC's workforce.
Identify opportunities to improve recruitment, compliance, and mobilisation processes.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administration role involving recruitment and mobilisation, preferably within the mining or resources industry.
Experience coordinating compliance requirements for shutdown or project-based work.
Experience using mining compliance portals such as INX Software.
Experience with Rapid Crews Workforce Management is desirable.
Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements.
Experience using job management and planning systems within the mining sector to coordinate maintenance schedules and manage work orders is highly regarded.
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office.
