FIFO on an 8/6 roster, this is a great learning ground for the young geologist.
About you
Tertiary qualification in Geology, Geoscience or a related discipline, ideally a BSc with Honours or MSc.
Must have Full Australian Working Rights
Current WA C Class Driver's Licence, with the ability to work safely in an operational mine site environment.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to collect, validate and manage geological and production data accurately.
Basic Microsoft Office and database skills, with a willingness to learn mine geology systems and processes.
Collaborative team player who can communicate effectively with geology, mining, survey,



drilling and processing stakeholders.
Self-motivated, proactive and safety-focused, with the ability to work with minimal supervision and contribute to a positive team culture.
Key responsibilities
Assist with the day-to-day management of RC grade control drilling programs, including geological logging, sampling, QAQC and sample submission processes.
Support geological interpretation through bench and wall mapping, logging and sampling to help define lithology, structure and mineralisation across the open pit.
Conduct production geology activities including ore mark outs, ore spotting and bench mapping to maximise ore recovery and ensure material is directed to the correct stockpile.
Collect, validate and deliver accurate production, grade control and reconciliation data within agreed timeframes to support operational decision-making.
Liaise with survey, mining, drilling, blasting and processing teams to support safe and efficient mine geology, ROM and stockpile management activities.
Work safely and in accordance with policies, procedures and Life Saving Rules while contributing to continuous improvement, environmental management and team outcomes.
