About the role
We are seeking an experienced
People Partner
to join our Human Resources & Recruitment team at our Fyshwick, ACT office on a
full-time basis
.
This is a strategic management position that plays a pivotal role in supporting our internal operations and fostering a positive workplace culture.
As People Partner, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive human resources services across the organisation, acting as a trusted advisor to business leaders and employees alike.
This role is essential to ensuring our company maintains its competitive edge through effective people management, talent development, and the successful implementation of HR initiatives that drive organisational success.
Please note: Due to the nature of our work, WFH is not available.
Key responsibilities
Partner with senior leadership and department heads to understand business objectives and provide strategic HR advice to support the achievement of organisational goals




Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, development, and offboarding
Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices that promote a positive workplace culture
Provide coaching and mentoring to managers on people management matters, including performance management, employee engagement, and conflict resolution
Develop and deliver employee development programmes, training initiatives, and succession planning strategies
Manage employee relations matters, including disciplinary processes, grievances, and workplace issues, ensuring fairness and consistency
Support recruitment campaigns and lead the selection process to ensure we attract and retain top talent
Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies
Monitor employee engagement and wellbeing, identifying opportunities to enhance workplace satisfaction and retention
Collaborate with other HR team members and external stakeholders to deliver effective HR service delivery
What we're looking for
Minimum 3+ years' experience in a People Partner, HR Business Partner, or similar strategic HR management role within an internal HR function
Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and workplace relations legislation
Demonstrated experience in employee relations,



performance management, and conflict resolution
Proven track record in talent acquisition and recruitment process management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels
Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into effective HR initiatives and programmes
Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with HR trends and best practices
Preferred experience working in a manufacturing, technology, or professional services environment
