Oryx Communities is currently seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager to join our team at our brand new home The Melvista in Nedlands which is opening in June ****.

Key Responsibilities:
Support the General Manager by providing leadership and mentorship, with a clear focus on quality outcomes.
Demonstrate clinical judgement, decision making and timely coordination , clinical assessment and evaluation of the needs of the residents
Work with the multidisciplinary team
Coordinate nursing services and care staff to meet care outcomes
Work autonomously and as a part of a team.
Provide specialised nursing care, wound care and emotional support to residents.
Ability to manage time and prioritise changing workloads.
Complete documentation requirements in accordance with AN-ACC, Aged Care Quality Standards and Oryx Communities' policy and procedures.
Adhere to infection prevention and control protocols and procedures designed to prevent infection transmission in the work place
About You
You will have highly competent clinical and critical thinking skills and the ability to efficiently coordinate and deliver resident care in collaboration with other health professionals.
A hands on, compassionate, and collaborative Leader who creates positive relationships with residents and family members.
Management experience of quality systems and regulatory compliance related to the Aged Care Act and the Aged Care Quality Standards.
Requirements for the Role
Current Nursing AHPRA registration
At least 2 years' experience working in aged care at a senior RN level
Understanding of quality care and customer service to residents and their families
Experience working with residents living with Dementia and age related illnesses
Have undertaken or willingness to undertake COVID -19 Infection Control & PPE Training, Hand Hygiene training and Food Safety Training
Computer literacy and a willingness to learn new technology
Understanding of AN-ACC and Aged Care Standards requirements
Excellent communication and leadership skills to successfully lead a team.
Current National Police Certificate
