About The Role
As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic working across the WA Goldfields region, this role supports safe and efficient maintenance operations within a fast-paced mining setting.
The position involves but not limited to servicing, maintaining and repairing mobile plant, road trains, light vehicles and industrial engines.
We are currently offering FIFO from Perth with 2/1 rosters accommodating to days only, but also day shift and night shift.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Australian Recognized Trade Certificate (Certificate II in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or relevant)
Manual Driver's Licence
Full Australian Working Rights
Ability to pass pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol
Previous mobile plant experience - CAT equipment including loaders, excavators, dozers and more
Other - light vehicles and trucks, industrial engines and road trains
Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct schedules & unscheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs on all mobile equipment, light vehicles, engines and more
Carry out diagnostics and fault finding works on road trains including Macks, Kenworth, Western Star etc
Always ensuring compliance with workplace Health and Safety procedures, and environmental standards
Maintain a clean and organised workshop, and promote protected work practices at all times
