QLD Family Dental Centres proudly operates four practices across South East Queensland, trading as Northpoint Dental Centre, Westridge Dental, Wilsonton Dental Centre, and Esk Dental Centre.

Northpoint Dental Centre, Westridge Dental & Wilsonton Dental Centre are located in the beautiful Garden City of Toowoomba, overlooking its picturesque landscapes. Since opening in June 2014, the practices have experienced significant growth, creating an increasing demand for dental services and a continual expansion of our clinical team.

Our Toowoomba practices feature state-of-the-art, purpose-built facilities equipped with the latest dental technology, including A-dec 500 dental chairs, TRIOS intraoral scanners, DSLR cameras, rotary endomotors, NSK Surgic Pro surgical and implant motors, digital X-rays, Zoom teeth whitening, LED handpieces, intraoral cameras, OPG, and CBCT imaging.

We provide comprehensive dental care, offering all aspects of general dentistry, dental implants, and selected orthodontic treatments.

Esk Dental Centre extends the same high standard of patient care to the Somerset region. Conveniently located in the heart of Esk, the practice provides comprehensive general dentistry in a modern, welcoming environment, supported by contemporary dental technology and a dedicated team committed to delivering quality care to the local community.

About the role

This role has been created to support the increasing demand from our growing clientele, ensuring we continue to provide high-quality service and personalized care.

You will step into a busy schedule with full books and play a vital role in maintaining and building upon the strong goodwill we've established.





You will have a huge impact in lives of our patients by not only offering them high quality dentistry but also treating them with empathy and compassion.

One on One Onsite mentoring, while maintaining your clinical autonomy.

You will possess the following essential skills:

Diagnosing dental diseases using a range of methods for e.g., but not limited to RADIOGRAPHS, pulp tests, medical histories, saliva test, clinical examination, photographic records, etc.

Deliver the highest quality of dental care (preventive, interceptive and corrective) to patients by carrying out various procedures e.g., but not limited to Fillings, Root Canal Treatments, Crowns and Bridges, Hygiene visits, etc as per the scope of practice.

Educate patients in Oral care, help them understand the current status of their oral health and work with them to achieve their oral health goals.

Restoring oral function with removable and fixed oral prostheses

Assisting in diagnosing general diseases having oral manifestations such as diabetes

Work closely with the Dental Labs/Technicians where needed to achieve optimal treatment outcomes for the patient.

Refer the patients to specialists where appropriate.

Provide Leadership- leading a dental team which may comprise Dental Hygienists, Dental Therapists, Dental Assistants and other Dental Specialists

Train new staff members or existing staff members to assist in recent procedures as necessary

Monitor patient base and be responsible for developing specific approaches to attract a constant influx of new patients and retaining patients of record.

Provide a general climate of cooperation and understanding.

Structure educational plans for self and staff to maintain the highest level of expertise in clinical and business functions, also comply with the continuing dental education requirements of AHPRA.
