Our client is a well-regarded regional Queensland law firm with genuine roots in agribusiness and rural communities, looking for an experienced commercial lawyer to lead and grow their commercial practice. Based from either Toowoomba or Brisbane, this is a genuine leadership opportunity rather than another senior fee-earner role, with the backing of an established regional practice behind you.

About The Role!

You/'ll take ownership of the commercial practice across our client/'s Queensland footprint, managing a team and building the client base from the ground up.





- Manage and mentor a growing team of experienced commercial solicitors (currently 4+) across the firm/'s Queensland offices
- Build and grow your own client base within the firm/'s established regional network
- Advise on a genuinely broad commercial caseload, from rural and agricultural conveyancing to gas and resources agreements and business transactions
- Work directly with regional and agribusiness clients on matters that materially affect their operations
- Represent and develop the firm/'s commercial practice across its Queensland-wide client base

What You/'ll Bring!

- Proven commercial law experience at a senior or leadership level, ready to run and grow a team (8+ PAE in Commercial Law from private practice)
- Confidence advising across a broad commercial caseload rather than a single narrow specialism
- Genuine interest in regional and agribusiness client work
- Current unrestricted Queensland practising certificate
- Based in, or willing to relocate to, Toowoomba or Brisbane
