About the role:

/n

Are you a safety-focused leader with a passion for mobile plant maintenance? Roy Hill is seeking an experienced Shutdown Supervisorfor its Mobile Maintenancedepartment to lead our shutdown crews, ensuring all mobile equipment is maintained to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency.

/n

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for playing a key role in planning, executing, and closing out shutdowns, driving a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.

/n

Duties:

/n

/n

- Lead and supervise shutdown maintenance activities for mobile plant and equipment

/n

- Ensure compliance with OEM specifications and Roy Hill procedures

/n

- Coordinate and allocate resources to meet shutdown schedules and targets

/n

- Conduct pre-shutdown planning, risk assessments, and post-shutdown reviews

/n

- Drive a high-performance culture, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities for your team

/n

- Liaise with internal stakeholders and contractors to ensure seamless execution of shutdowns

/n

- Monitor and report on shutdown progress, addressing issues to minimise downtime and costs

/n

- Ensure accurate completion of documentation, including work orders and safety reports

/n/n

Skills and Experience:

/n

/n

- Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (or equivalent – highly regarded)

/n

- Strong experience leading large work crews in shutdowns within the mining sector

/n

- Proven experience on heavy mobile equipment (e.g. Hitachi/Liebherr Excavators, Caterpillar Dozers and Pit Viper 271 Drills)

/n





- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

/n

- Committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

/n

- Experience using SAP or a similar CMMS (desirable)

/n/n
