Our client, Moranbah Hospital, is seeking a Clinical Nurse to join the Mental Health - Hinterland team on a three-week contract from 28 September to 18 October 2026. Based at Moranbah Community Health Centre with outreach to the Hinterland region as required, this Grade 6 position offers the chance to deliver mental health case management in a community setting. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 0800-1630 hours, with remuneration of AUD73.35 to AUD80.94 per hour.

- Three-week contract role in mental health case management and community outreach
- AUD73.35 to AUD80.94 per hour, maximum 80 hours per fortnight with overtime available
- Based in Moranbah, QLD, with flexibility to support the Hinterland region

Preferred Requirements

- Demonstrated mental health case management experience




- Competence in completing electrocardiograms (ECGs)
- Ability to work effectively in a community health setting with diverse client needs
- Robust clinical documentation and communication skills
- Flexibility to work across multiple locations within the Hinterland region as required

Preferred Qualifications

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2016 and familiarity with Queensland Health systems and databases (CIMHA, ATODS-IS, ieMR)
- Previous experience in alcohol and other drugs (AOD) case management, or experience working with children and adolescents in mental health settings
