Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly organised Rostering Manager to lead workforce planning, scheduling, and rostering operations across our Children's Services, NDIS, SIL, Community Nursing, DVA, and Community Support programs.

This leadership role is responsible for ensuring workforce resources are effectively coordinated to maintain safe, compliant, and efficient service delivery while supporting organisational growth and operational excellence., * Lead and manage workforce rostering across all service divisions.

- Develop and maintain efficient rosters that ensure appropriate staffing levels and service continuity.
- Coordinate shift allocations, vacancies, leave management, and emergency staffing requirements.
- Manage last-minute roster changes and workforce contingencies.
- Monitor staffing utilisation, overtime, and workforce costs.
- Support after-hours rostering and operational requirements as required.
- Manage casual workforce pools and external agency staffing arrangements.
- Ensure staffing allocations meet operational, contractual, and compliance requirements.
- Manage and maintain all workforce rosters within Flow Logic.
- Coordinate scheduling across Children's Services, NDIS, SIL, Community Nursing, DVA, and Community Support programs.
- Monitor workforce availability, qualifications, compliance status, and service allocations.
- Ensure services are scheduled in accordance with participant funding, service agreements, and support requirements.
- Generate workforce utilisation, attendance, compliance, and KPI reports.
- Maintain employee profiles, qualifications, licences, training records, Blue Cards, and NDIS Worker Screening information.
- Monitor timesheet approvals, payroll exports, and workforce data integrity.

Compliance & Workforce Monitoring

- Monitor workforce compliance requirements, including:
- Blue Cards
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearances
- Driver Licences
- First Aid and CPR Certifications
- Mandatory Training




- Residential Care Qualifications
- Medication Competencies
- Professional Registrations
- Ensure only compliant employees are rostered for service delivery.
- Generate workforce compliance and operational reports.
- Maintain accurate employee and workforce records.

Continuous Improvement

- Identify opportunities to improve rostering efficiency and workforce utilisation.
- Contribute to workforce planning and operational improvement initiatives.
- Support quality assurance activities, audits, and accreditation requirements.
- Promote best-practice workforce management across all service areas.

About the Candidate

- Minimum two years' experience in workforce planning, rostering, or workforce coordination.
- Experience working within NDIS, Child Protection, Community Services, Healthcare, or Aged Care sectors.
- Strong knowledge of SCHADS Award provisions, Fair Work legislation, workforce compliance requirements, and NDIS Practice Standards.
- Experience using workforce management systems, preferably Flow Logic.
- Current Blue Card.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
- National Police Check.
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
