Role - Data Analyst
Join a high-performing analytics team delivering advanced data analysis and business intelligence solutions that support evidence-based decision-making, regulatory strategy, compliance oversight, and organisational performance. You will transform complex operational and regulatory data into actionable insights, develop dashboards and analytical products, and collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen risk-based decision-making across the organisation.
Employment Type and Duration: Contract - until 30 June 2027 with extension options

Key Responsibilities
· Analyse complex operational, compliance, regulatory, inspection, audit, and incident data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
· Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, analytical products, and business intelligence solutions.
· Design and enhance enterprise data models using SQL and Microsoft Fabric.
· Deliver descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics to support business decisions.
· Build executive reports, strategic performance dashboards, and briefing materials.
· Support the development of risk-based models, performance measures, and regulatory frameworks.
· Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, and consistency across multiple data sources.
· Collaborate with business, operational, and executive stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose analytical solutions.
· Present complex analytical findings in a explicit, meaningful, and business-focused manner.
Required Skills & Experience
· Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and data modelling.
· Proven experience developing dashboards, reports, analytical products, and business intelligence solutions.
· Demonstrated capability in analysing complex datasets and translating insights into actionable business outcomes.
· Experience designing and maintaining enterprise data models.
· Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior business stakeholders.
· Experience preparing executive-level reporting, performance dashboards, and analytical insights.
· Ability to work independently with minimal ramp-up in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Clearance
· Demonstrated experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Modelling, or a related discipline.
· Experience within regulatory, compliance, risk management, public sector, or similar environments will be highly regarded.
· Experience with Python, R, machine learning, or predictive analytics is advantageous.
