What you will do

As senior manager, campaigns, you will lead a team that plans and delivers communication campaigns across the department.

You will help shape communication that supports government priorities and informs the Victorian community.

You will:

- lead major communication strategies and campaigns from planning through to evaluation
- provide trusted advice to senior leaders on campaign planning, research and communication
- manage a high-performing team and support staff to build their skills
- oversee complex projects, budgets, contracts and reporting requirements
- use evidence and market research to improve campaigns and meet community needs.

About you

A tertiary qualification in communications or a related field is highly desirable. You should also have strong experience leading communication campaigns, ideally in the public sector.

You should also have:

- robust knowledge of Victorian Government communication policies, processes and campaign approvals
- proven experience leading communication, marketing, research and project work
- excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills




- the ability to build productive working relationships, support change and deliver results.
