An opportunity has become available for an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established commercial builder with a solid presence across NSW.
With an annual turnover of approximately $100M, the business has built a strong reputation delivering quality new-build projects across the industrial and accommodation sectors, supported by experienced leadership, established systems and a healthy pipeline of work.

This position will see you take ownership of a $30M multi-level industrial facility on a greenfield site in Sydney's Inner West.

The Project
This is a technically interesting new build with a significant structural and structural steel component. You'll be site-based and responsible for leading the project through construction to successful handover.
You'll work closely with the Construction Manager while leading the site and commercial teams, subcontractors, consultants and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Take overall responsibility for the delivery of the $30M project.
- Manage programme, budget, procurement and construction outcomes.
- Oversee significant structural steel and structural packages.
- Lead the Site Manager, Contract Administrator and project delivery team.
- Manage subcontractor procurement, performance and commercial outcomes.
- Coordinate consultants, design issues and RFIs.
- Maintain accurate forecasting, cost reporting and financial management through Jobpac.
- Manage client relationships, progress meetings and reporting.
- Drive quality, safety and programme through to Practical Completion.

About You
We're looking for an experienced construction professional who can confidently take ownership of the project.

You will ideally have:





- 10+ years' construction industry experience with a commercial head contractor.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering commercial new-build projects.
- Strong knowledge of structures and structural steel is essential.
- Experience delivering projects in the $20M–$50M+ range.
- Strong commercial, programming and subcontractor management capability.
- Jobpac experience is essential.
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong leadership and client-facing communication skills.
