Are you a passionate Hydraulic Engineer looking to deliver high-impact projects in Sydney’s booming construction and infrastructure sector?

We are a leading multidisciplinary Building Services Engineering consultancy seeking an experienced Hydraulic Engineer to join our dynamic team. You’ll play a key role in designing innovative hydraulic systems for landmark commercial, residential, healthcare, and education projects across Greater Sydney.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the full design and documentation of hydraulic services, including:

- Cold & hot water systems
- Sanitary drainage and sewer systems
- Stormwater management and rainwater harvesting
- Fire hydrant and hose reel systems
- Gas services
- Water treatment and pumping systems
- Sustainable water solutions (greywater, blackwater recycling)

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare hydraulic designs, calculations, and technical drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, and hydraulic modelling software
- Undertake site inspections, condition assessments, and commissioning support
- Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, and clients
- Ensure compliance with Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3500, NCC, Sydney Water requirements, etc.)
- Contribute to tender documentation and cost estimates
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership

What You’ll Bring

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years’ experience in hydraulic design within building services
- Strong working knowledge of Revit and hydraulic engineering software




- Proven track record delivering projects in commercial, high-rise residential, or infrastructure sectors
- CPEng or NPER registration (highly regarded)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Current Australian working rights
