Exciting role for a Payroll Officer who is looking to step more into reporting, automations & process improvements while remaining hands-on with BAU!

THE ROLE

- Support the end-to-end payroll process using Micropay
- Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and data analysis using Excel
- Investigate payroll discrepancies and assist with data validation




- Assist with payroll compliance reporting and audit requirements
- Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes and improve efficiencies
- Support automation and AI-led process improvement initiatives across the payroll function
- Maintain employee master data and ensure system accuracy
- Assist with leave reconciliations and payroll reporting requirements
- Support month-end and year-end payroll activities
- Participate in payroll system enhancements, upgrades, and testing
- Work closely with Payroll, HR, and Finance stakeholders
- Provide payroll administration and processing support when required

THE PERSON

Experienced within a Payroll Officer or Payroll Analyst position * Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processing

- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reporting and reconciliations
- Experience using Micropay is highly desirable
- Passion for systems, technology, AI, and process automation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Curious mindset with a desire to continuously improve processes
- Confident communicator who enjoys collaborating with stakeholders
- Full working rights as this is a permanent opportunity
