The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant payroll operations, maintaining employee records, and all accounts payable functions.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a broad finance role with variety, ownership and the chance to continue developing their skills.Immediate start is available and this is a full time and onsite roleThe primary functions for this role include:Weekly Payroll processing for 100+ employeesMaintaining employee and payroll records and respond to queriesSet up and maintain supplier recordsProcessing and reviewing of supplier invoicesProcessing payments including ad hoc payments and chequesReconciling supplier invoices to supplier statementsFollowing up missing documents and queriesSkills and Experience:The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:Qualifications in accounting preferred with bookkeeping qualifications consideredProven experience in end-to-end payroll processingExperience working with employment awards and timesheetsKnowledge of visa requirements highly regardedExperience in accounts payable processingExcellent communication skillsboth written and verbalHigh attention to detailStrong organisational and time management skillsAbility to handle confidential information with discretionDemonstrate sound computer and spreadsheet skillsTeam playerwith awillingness to learnProactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvementOnly short-listed applicants will be contacted.Applicants must be physically located in Australia.
