Job Description
Mid-level Legal Counsel opportunity for a Property or Commercial Lawyer who wants a purposeful, autonomous, in‐house role. The position supports recent site developments, international expansion and complex commercial partnerships within an Australian headquartered global provider committed to delivering the best possible care to as many people as possible.
Responsibilities
Provide commercial advice, strategic project support and contract drafting, negotiation, and management across all business units and geographical regions, including development, M&A;, data governance, services agreements, team-oriented partnerships, and procurement. Handle global property portfolio matters such as construction contracts, lease renewals, and lease agreements. Support general governance through the company secretariat function, legal risk management, and contribution to the Group-wide Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
Lead matters with support from the legal team and close collaboration with business stakeholders.
Qualifications
Commercial lawyer with 5‐7 years of practice at law firm or in‐house experience, solid contract drafting expertise, and property law exposure. Demonstrated calm, pragmatic, solutions‐focused approach, commercial acumen, and the confidence to manage multiple matters and stakeholders independently.
