About the Role
JBS Dinmore is looking for an experienced and motivated Trim Management System (TMS) Manager to join our team at one of Australia’s largest and most dynamic beef processing facilities. Reporting to the Assistant Plant Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems and improving the way things operate. You’ll play an important role in leading and coordinating fabrication activities across our Trim Management System, helping ensure our operation continues to run safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity where no two days are the same. You’ll work alongside our Production, Engineering and wider operational teams, supporting the reliability and performance of equipment including conveyors, chutes, metal detection units, nitrogen tunnel, Sensor X (X-ray) and associated systems.
What you’ll be involved in:
- Lead and support a team in a busy, fast-paced processing environment
- Coordinate fabrication activities and priorities across the TMS
- Work closely with Production and Engineering to identify opportunities and improve equipment reliability
- Assist with maintenance planning, shutdowns, equipment upgrades and minor capital projects
- Support root cause investigations and help turn identified issues into practical improvements
- Review technical drawings, documentation and fabrication requirements
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, food safety and compliance
- Help develop a positive team culture focused on communication, accountability and continuous improvement
- Contribute your ideas and experience to help make our operation safer, more reliable and more efficient
About you
We’re looking for someone who brings practical experience, a positive attitude and a genuine desire to make a difference. Ideally, you will have:
- Experience working within the meat processing industry
- Previous leadership, supervisory or team-leading experience, or the desire to take the next step in your career
- Strong communication and people skills
- The ability to organise, delegate and prioritise in a fast-moving environment
- A practical and solutions-focused approach to problem solving
- An understanding of workplace health and safety, quality and food safety requirements
- Good computer skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook
- The ability to stay calm, approachable and focused when things get busy
- A strong eye for detail and a commitment to getting the job done right
- The ability to work independently while also being a supportive and cooperative team member
