Children: 9-year-old and 16-month-old (primary care for the toddler)

About the Role

Your primary focus will be caring for the family's 16-month-old, while also confidently managing the morning routine, including school drop-off for their 9-year-old.

You will create a safe, engaging and nurturing environment that supports the toddler's development through play, routine and responsive care. Alongside childcare, you'll assist with light household duties to help keep the home organised during the morning.

This role is perfect for a professional nanny who enjoys creating structure, takes initiative and thrives in a family environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide warm, attentive and responsive care for the 16-month-old

- Support feeding, sleep routines and age-appropriate developmental activities

- Plan engaging play and learning experiences that encourage growth and development

- Complete the morning school drop-off for the 9-year-old

- Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating environment

- Assist with light household duties, including:

- Laundry and changing bed linen





- Tidying children's areas and shared living spaces

- General household organisation to keep the home running smoothly

- Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety

- Communicate openly with parents regarding routines, milestones and any concerns

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

- An experienced nanny with a genuine passion for working with young children

- Confident supporting toddlers through important developmental stages

- Calm, patient, nurturing and engaging

- Reliable, organised and proactive

- Able to work independently and use initiative

- A strong communicator who enjoys working collaboratively with families

- Flexible and committed to building a long-term relationship with the family

Essential Requirements

- Previous professional childcare or nanny experience

- Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

- Current Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle

- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

- Strong references

- Australian working rights
