THERAPY™ is seeking an experienced, progressive and highly professional Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary clinical team.
This unique role is suited to a nurse with a strong interest in women’s health, perimenopause, menopause, hormonal health, fertility, biomarker testing, IV therapy, cosmetic medicine, PRP/PRF, TMJ care and advanced wellness technologies.
The successful applicant will work alongside medical practitioners, nurses, psychologists and allied health professionals within an integrated, medically governed environment.
Key responsibilities
Depending on qualifications, demonstrated competency and individual scope of practice, responsibilities may include:
Women’s health and hormonal care
- Supporting women throughout different reproductive and hormonal life stages
- Collecting detailed menstrual, reproductive, fertility, pregnancy, perimenopause and menopause histories
- Supporting patients experiencing hormone-related physical, cognitive and mental health changes
- Assisting with fertility, preconception and reproductive-health pathways
- Supporting medically prescribed hormone and menopause treatment plans
- Monitoring symptoms, treatment tolerance and patient-reported outcomes
- Coordinating referrals between GPs, psychologists and allied health practitioners
- Providing trauma-informed, culturally safe and inclusive nursing care
Bloodwork and biomarker testing
- Coordinating comprehensive bloodwork, pathology collection and biomarker assessments
- Performing venepuncture, specimen collection, identification, preparation and handling
- Confirming fasting, timing and other pre-collection requirements
- Maintaining accurate testing schedules, result records, recalls and follow-up pathways
- Identifying findings that require routine, priority or urgent escalation
- Escalating abnormal results to the responsible medical practitioner
- Supporting patients to understand practitioner-approved results and treatment plans
- Coordinating repeat testing and clinical reviews
IV therapy
- Reviewing medical history, allergies, prescriptions and clinical eligibility
- Performing peripheral IV cannulation and venepuncture
- Preparing and administering individually prescribed IV therapies
- Conducting and documenting baseline and ongoing observations
- Monitoring for infiltration, extravasation, allergic reactions, vasovagal responses and clinical deterioration
- Providing clear pre-treatment and aftercare education
- Maintaining medication,
cold-chain, stock and treatment records
- Responding appropriately to adverse reactions and clinical emergencies
Cosmetic nursing and TMJ care
- Conducting nursing assessments relevant to proposed cosmetic procedures
- Verifying that individual medical assessment, consent and prescribing requirements have been completed
- Performing authorised cosmetic nursing procedures within an approved treatment plan
- Supporting clinician-led TMJ assessment and treatment pathways
- Preparing patients and clinical areas for procedures
- Maintaining clinical photography and consent records
- Providing balanced information regarding risks, expected outcomes and aftercare
- Recognising complications and activating escalation or referral pathways
- Maintaining professional boundaries and avoiding pressure-based selling
PRP and PRF procedures
- Supporting patient preparation and consent verification
- Performing venepuncture and preparing platelet-based products using approved equipment and protocols
- Maintaining patient and product traceability
- Applying strict aseptic and infection-prevention procedures
- Assisting with authorised PRP and PRF procedures under appropriate medical supervision
- Monitoring patients during and following treatment
- Providing approved post-procedure care and education
- Documenting products, equipment, procedure details and patient response
Advanced wellness technologies
Subject to training, demonstrated competency and organisational authorisation, the nurse may provide screening, monitoring and clinical support for:
- Hyperbaric oxygen therapy
- Whole-body cryotherapy
- ReOxy intermittent hypoxic-hyperoxic training
- Photobiomodulation
- HOCATT
- PEMF
- Infrared sauna
- Neurotechnology and nervous-system regulation services
- Metabolic and performance assessments
- Recovery and healthy-ageing programs
Responsibilities will include completing pre-treatment screening, recording relevant observations, recognising contraindications, monitoring treatment tolerance and escalating clinical concerns.
About you
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with Ahpra
- A minimum of three years’ post-registration clinical experience preferred
- Current professional indemnity insurance
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support certification
- Advanced Life Support certification, or willingness to obtain it
- Strong venepuncture, pathology collection and IV cannulation skills
- Experience coordinating comprehensive blood panels and biomarker testing
- Sound understanding of pathology terminology, reference ranges and escalation requirements
- Experience in women’s health, fertility, general practice, gynaecology, endocrinology or menopause care
- Experience in IV therapy, cosmetic nursing, dermatology, theatre, emergency or day procedures
- Recognised education and supervised competency in cosmetic nursing where applicable
- Experience with PRP, PRF or platelet-based procedures highly regarded
- A strong interest in hyperbaric oxygen therapy, cryotherapy, ReOxy, photobiomodulation and recovery medicine
- Excellent consultation, patient-education and clinical-documentation skills
- Strong medication-safety, infection-control and emergency-response knowledge
- A calm, warm, professional and safety-focused approach
- A genuine interest in mental health, nervous-system regulation and whole-person care

Clinical and professional requirements
The Registered Nurse must:
- Work only within their education, demonstrated competency, Ahpra registration and authorised organisational scope
- Follow THERAPY’s policies, clinical protocols and governance framework
- Maintain accurate, objective and contemporaneous clinical records
- Participate in orientation and competency assessment before independently performing procedures
- Report incidents, adverse events, near misses and clinical concerns
- Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Never independently diagnose, prescribe or alter a medical treatment plan unless separately endorsed and legally authorised
- Ensure prescription-only treatments are supported by a valid, patient-specific assessment and prescription
- Refer pathology interpretation, diagnosis, prescribing and changes to treatment plans to the authorised medical practitioner
