About the OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our maintenance team to support production on afternoon shift and play a key role in our new site commissioning.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will be a crucial member of the maintenance team responsible for all aspects of maintenance functions for the operational process of the production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively identify, diagnose and repair breakdowns.
Ensure all maintenance works are completed in a timely manner to a very high quality.




Follow and maintain all company & protected work processes and procedures.
Complete plant inspections, monitoring and PM works.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter / Fitter Turner.
Welding ability – MIG, Arc, oxy and TIG welding with stainless (basic welding skills).
Exposure to PLC & Automation.

Class electrician preferred, but not essential.
Experience of 2+ years (within a FMCG manufacturing industry would be an advantage but is not essential).
Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills.
Great communication and able to work within a team environment.
A strong work ethic and able to work under pressure.
