We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Team Leader Planning & Contract Support to play a key role in the delivery and continuous improvement of Western Australia’s student transport network. Leading a small, high-performing team, you will oversee the planning, review and development of school bus services across metropolitan, regional, rural and remote WA, ensuring students have access to safe, reliable and cost-effective transport solutions. This is a diverse and meaningful role where strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving come together to support thousands of students and families across the State.

Working closely with contractors, schools, community groups and government stakeholders, you will lead service planning initiatives, procurement and contract management activities, complex investigations, and policy development.

We are looking for a confident and adaptable professional with experience in contract management, procurement, service planning or a related field. You will bring strong leadership, negotiation and communication skills, combined with the ability to analyse complex information and develop practical, innovative solutions. To excel in this role, you should possess:

- Highly developed interpersonal skills and negotiation skills, with the ability to negotiate outcomes with internal and external clients at all levels.
- Well developed leadership and management skills, including; organising and planning work and resources to meet targets, undertaking performance management and determining,



coordinating and delivering training requirements for the team.
- Well developed written, verbal and interpersonal skills including the ability to develop internal and external stakeholder relationships; relate to people from varied backgrounds; and to convey concepts to individuals and groups including large meetings.
- Highly developed ability to develop practical and innovative solutions to problems.
