As our Student Recruitment Officer, you will:
- Engage and Nurture Leads – Respond to prospective student enquiries, qualify leads, and provide personalised follow-up to guide them through early decision-making stages.
- Manage Seamless Handovers – Identify application-ready leads and prepare clear handover documentation for the Admissions team to ensure a smooth transition.
- Represent at Events – Attend and support student recruitment events, capturing and following up with leads to maintain engagement.
- Maintain CRM and Report Insights – Accurately log all interactions in the CRM platform, collaborate with teams, and provide regular reports to inform our student recruitment strategies.
- This role is permanent part-time, 22.8 hours/week (3 days/week).
- Remuneration: $75,666/year pro-rated to $45,399/year (excl. Super) .
Essential Key Attributes (please respond to these attributes in your Cover Letter):
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage with prospective students both in person and remotely.
- Proven interpersonal and customer service skills, ideally within a sales or recruitment environment.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- A creative and adaptable thinker with a proactive, innovative approach.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
- Involvement in a local evangelical church and demonstrated Christian character.
- Alignment of personal values, beliefs and practices with the mission, Staff Code (mcstaffcode), and Christian ethos of Morling College.
- Previous experience in the Higher Education sector and/or complex organisations.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce/Pardot highly desirable) or a demonstrated willingness and aptitude to learn quickly.
