Stevens Cargo Services isthe supplier ofspecialised machinery to the bulk shipping industry. The Australian owned & operated family company wasestablished in 1990 and operates nationwide.

We have available a position for a Labourer. This is essentially a workshop hands on role, with in house training available.

Located in Kwinana Beach, this position will provide cleaning and general workshop duties.

Ensuring all machinery, namely, excavators, skid steers, forklifts, grabs, & generators are cleaned at all times in accordance with the high company standards.

Please note, this role requires a current driver's licence and police clearance.

Applicants hourly rate will be determined based on skills, qualifications and experience.

Duties

- Lubricating and cleaning equipment.
- Carry out minor repairs when required.
- Washing down of machinery when return from a vessel.
- Setting up machinery for operations.
- Liaising with staff in the workshop.




- Assist with loading / unloading Stevens machinery from trucks.

Essential qualities for the role include

- WA drivers license (Forklift & EWP would be favourable)
- Operate Steam cleaning equipment.
- Have a strong work ethic and are self-motivated.
- Can multitask and enjoy being part of a team.
- Ability to work unsupervised with a high standard of safety for yourself and others.
- Attention to detail both personally and professionally.
- Flexible to work weekends when required.

Qualification / Experience

- Have valuable oral communication skills.
- Professional and positive attitude.
- Ability to demonstrate alevel of analytical and problem solving skills.
- Physically fit and able to do manual work.
- Able to pass police check and pre-employment drug testing.
