Applicants must be licensed CA/CPA, reside in Brisbane, and be open to a hybrid working arrangement of two days remote and three days in office.

Responsibilities

- Manage and review business activity statements, income tax returns, and financial statements for individuals, SMEs, trusts, and companies.
- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to identify opportunities to minimise tax liability and improve business performance.
- Lead, mentor, and support the technical development of junior staff.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor for ongoing compliance and advisory needs.
- Oversee workflow management, billing, and WIP to ensure deadlines are met and the team operates within budget.
- Prepare high‑level transactional advisory work such as CGT concessions, brokerage, and restructuring.




- Utilise Karbon email/CRM/workflow system and Ignition, NowInfinity platforms.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Licensed CA/CPA.
- At least 2 years of experience as a business services manager or related role.
- Demonstrated interest or experience working with clients in the medical industry.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and supportively within a team.
- Robust communication and organisational skills.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model (2 days remote from home, 3 days in office).
- Commitment to early start and finish flexibility to accommodate family commitments.
