We have an opportunity for a Zero Harm Advisor to join our Energy and Utilities business supporting the Unity Water contract in South East Queensland.
Reporting to the Zero Harm Manager, this role works closely with project teams to embed Downer's Zero Harm culture across operations. The role involves coaching and influencing teams to deliver safe and sustainable outcomes, driving safety excellence, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, and supporting the health, safety and wellbeing of people, partners and communities.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar Health Safety and Environment role within water utilities, civil construction or infrastructure environments
- Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and safety management systems
- Demonstrated ability to conduct audits, inspections and incident investigations
- Experience supporting injury management and return to work processes
- Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to coach frontline teams and leaders
- Proven ability to develop risk assessments, SWMS and safety documentation
- Certificate IV in WHS as a minimum, with further qualifications desirable
- Current drivers licence
